The First of Three, Read on and See!

In terms of designer kids clothings, there are different levels of status that go with the brands. One high class level is the group of Hackett London, Ralph Lauren and Gant. Hackett London has just launched their new autumn/ winter collection and there is a really great blog post already describing the key themes. We absolutely wanted to share this with you:

Mayfair dressing is for those kids who require a touch of elegance in their wardrobe. Influence is taken directly from the designer menswear range with luxury fabrics and classic styles and colours. Sharp 2 button suits in charcoal or navy are teamed with a Brompton tailored fit shirt and clubstripe tie. Wear with a cardigan and herringbone overcoat for a classic mini Mayfair look. Fine gauge polo tops are detailed with polka dot silk or regimental stripe tie trims in the neck and placket.

Oxford Blues

Reinforcing its sporting ties and Hackett’s sponsorship associations, Oxford Blues is inspired by the iconic Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race. Unstructured blazers are trimmed with contrast fabric and silk tie trims on under collars while traditional crests make an appearance on pockets and shirts. Classic cricket inspired pullovers come in sky and navy and raglan sleeve sweatshirts feature vintage sporting logos. A navy wool duffle coat is updated this season with contrast toggles. The colour palette is based on regal red, navy, green, ivory and gold.

Rally is a journey into the golden era of vintage British motoring and combines Aston Martin Racing performance garments with authentic heritage inspired pieces. Tartan and checks are a prominent feature within the range; brushed cotton tattersall check shirts can be teamed with cords or chinos while a key statement tartan jacket look best with dark denim or vintage wash jeans. Tweed is also an important part of the collection with a classic 2 button jacket and new for Autumn, school style shorts with turn ups.

The Little Britons accessory line continues to grow and for this season includes woollen snowflake hats in navy and grey, colourful webbing belts and a range of tartan ties which compliment the range perfectly.
